The fifth edition of the Ajman Sports Festival will feature a running race with over 1500 participants. The event includes categories for men, women, and families, promoting community engagement and healthy competition.

A sports event taking place as part of the fifth annual sports day of the Ajman government gathered more than 1500 participants from various nationalities, age groups, and categories. The running competitions start on Tuesday at the Safya Running Track in Ajman, where participants from government institutions and various community categories compete at distances of 10 and 5 km for adults, as well as 2 km for families and children.

High stakes include valuable prizes for winners in various competition categories, such as overall male and female results, the top three places among government institutions, and the top three places among citizens over 50 years old, as well as an overall score among children.

In football competitions, the Department of Land Management and Regulation achieved victory over the General Command Police team of Ajman with a score of 2:1. Mokhsen Mohammmed Ahmed from the Department of Land Management was awarded the star of the match. Similarly, the Department of Municipalities team defeated the Ajman Bank team with a score of 2:1. Ali bin Sultan al-Naimi from Ajman Bank was recognized as the best player of the match. In the third match, the Ajman University team recorded an impressive victory over the Economic Development Department team with a score of 6:0.

In volleyball competitions at the beach, Ajman's Creative Hall hosted four final matches of the quarterfinals. The Transport Management team faces off against the Bright Steel team at 21:30, the Saiva team meets Ocean at 22:30, the Ajman East Coast Realty team will play against Caltex at 23:30, while the National Olympic Academy faces off against Mascot in the semifinals. In the first round, Bright Steel defeated Saiva with a score of 2:0, Mascot triumphed over Ajman East Coast Realty, and the National Olympic Academy conquered the United Spikers team with a score of 2:0.
