Yesterday, the «Masfoot for Camping» event kicked off as part of the «Masfoot Breezes» festival, adding a unique dimension to the festival's program. It offers a comprehensive experience blending mountain nature with community activities in an atmosphere that reflects the spirit of adventure and harmony with the environment, characteristic of the Masfoot region. The camping event featured a variety of activities, including car meetups, mountain trail hikes, dedicated children's programs, outdoor cooking experiences, and an open-air cinema under the stars. The natural setting highlighted the beauty of the location and fostered community interaction among visitors. As part of the festival's cultural program, the Emirates Nature Association, in cooperation with the Emirates Balanced Development Council, hosted a poetry evening. The event was attended by local residents and poetry enthusiasts. Poets Mohammad bin Hashem Al Sharif, Musab bin Ali Al Kaabi, and Obaid bin Khazaifa Al Kaabi participated. The evening was hosted and its segments presented by poet Ahmed bin Khalif Al Bidawawi. The evening featured poems that celebrated the authentic Emirati values and the significance of the Masfoot region, representing its cultural and historical depth, especially after it was named the best tourist village in the world. This cultural event reflected the connection between poetry and local identity and creativity. It is worth noting that the «Masfoot Breezes» festival began in the emirate of Ajman and is organized by the Emirates Balanced Development Council as part of the «Emirates Villages» program, in partnership with the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department. It runs until December 31st, aligning with a strategic vision aimed at enhancing national identity, preserving cultural and natural heritage, boosting rural tourism, and supporting the local economy, thereby contributing to improving quality of life and establishing Masfoot's status as a sustainable community and tourist destination.
