
The Academy of New Media has launched the first academy of its kind in the field of digital media in the Middle East in collaboration with the Ajman Palace. A masterclass on the basics of creating digital content was held, focusing on training 25 employees in communication from various public and private organizations, as well as enterprises in Ajman.
The director of projects at the Training Center of the Academy of New Media, Yasmin Al-Bana, emphasized the importance of partnerships with various national institutions aimed at equipping their employees with future skills.
During the masterclass, conducted by experts and influential figures in social networks from the Academy, the latest trends in effective strategic communication, public speaking skills before the media, content development, and management on social networks platforms were discussed, along with media community development, management of media crises, effective storytelling of governmental histories, and positive interaction through digital media.
The executive director of the 'Thqra' Center for entrepreneurship, belonging to the Ajman Palace, Marwan Harab, stated: "The masterclass is being held within the framework of the center’s commitment to provide quality services in the field of education, training, and consulting, as well as to provide all necessary support and preparation for professionals in various fields, especially in digital media, with the aim of ensuring the new generation has the tools and skills to accompany changes happening in this vital sector, and contribute to the development of the digital economy in the emirate."
He added: "The masterclass opens new perspectives for participants in the field of creativity, innovation, and development, providing them opportunities to exchange ideas and experiences with the best global practices in this sector, as well as direct engagement with experts and specialists, which strengthens their capabilities to face different challenges and helps them achieve more effective and influential governance engagement."
