In the golf club "Al Zawra" in Ajman, the "Ajman Union" tournament started with the participation of 120 players from the UAE and other countries, competing in a 36-hole tournament using a stroke play system.
The events, organized by the Ajman Department of Tourism Development with the support of the company "Union of Water and Electricity", lasted two days and were filled with exciting moments. The Director of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, Mahmoud Khalil Al-Hachimi, noted that the holding of the "Ajman Union" golf tournament supports our commitment to engaging the youth through sports.
He emphasized that this event, supported by the Emirates Golf Federation, ideally serves as a combination of competition and connection, providing players and spectators the opportunity to share their common passion for golf. The tournament is conducted using an innovative system, within which 30 local professionals from the national league of professional golfers of the UAE compete based on their own system of scoring, while amateurs participate in the dynamic "scramble drive" system.
