The head coach of the club Adzhaman Khalifa Al-Jarmani confirmed that the victory of the "Oranges" over the guests from Al-Vakhd 4-3 in the decisive match of the 14th round of the Professional League Adnok was a strong morale boost for advancing up the table, greatly influencing the performance of Serbian striker Goran to effectively outplay opponents and win matches at a high level of mastery.
As a result of the victory, the Adzhaman team advanced to seventh place in the table with 19 points, surpassing Al-Vakhd, who remained in fifth place with 22 points. Al-Jarmani noted: "The players' attitude was evidently aimed at presenting the best gameplay, and we managed to forget the previous match, especially considering that Adzhaman entered the match with the goal of compensating for the loss to Al-Vakhd in the first round, where we missed quite a few opportunities, but at the same time displayed strong football, not allowing the result to be trivialized."
He added: "The victory in the opening of the second round gave us a moral lift for continuing to produce good results in the upcoming matches, especially considering that this victory positively affected the advancement of the ‘Oranges’ to the seventh line of the league table."
Al-Jarmani also pointed out: "The instructions given to the players before the match were to demonstrate the real level of the game and to satisfy the club's fans, and we managed to achieve that goal."
He continued: "The striker Goran was excellent at influencing the players’ performance throughout the match, and we managed to return to the game, especially after the substitutions of Ali Muden and Essam Faiss, which gave us additional options on the field and allowed us to emerge with a result that meets our expectations."
In response to the question about the team’s goals and the place they expect to occupy in the league this season, Al-Jarmani said: "God helps those who know their worth, therefore our goals are always clear: to be in a better position than in the previous season, and although the season is still long, today's victory is of great importance for us, helping to maintain a high level of performance."
