This evening, on Sunday, the activities of the fifth sports program of the Emirate of Ajman 2025 will begin, which is conducted with the support of Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al-Nuaimi, the heir prince of Ajman and the president of the Executive Council. The organizers are the Ajman Government Human Resources Department in cooperation with the Quattro Sports Center; the events will take place until the 19th of Ramadan this year, with broad participation from teams from government agencies and institutions in the Emirate of Ajman.
In the current version of the competition, there is a quality review of the number of championships and events, the number of which has increased to 12 different sports events, including football tournaments, beach volleyball, padel tennis, archery competitions, and cycling. Among the regular events of the day are men's running, traditional games tournament, crossfit, challenge games, as well as Ramadan village, fitness programs for women, and Humanitarian Day.
In the football tournament, 12 teams participate, divided into 3 groups: in the first group, compete the Autotransport Directorate, the University of Ajman, the Ports and Customs Department, and the Department of Economic Development; in the second - the Finance Department, Ajman Bank, the Municipal Department and Planning, and the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship; in the third - the University of Ajman, the Land Resources and Real Estate Regulation Department, the Ajman Police Command, and the Ajman Civil Defense.
Three matches will launch the competition program: in the first group, the Autotransport Directorate meets with the champion of the last year, the University of Ajman; in the second group, the Finance Department meets with the Ajman Bank team, and in the third group, the University of Ajman competes against the Land Resources and Real Estate Regulation Department. The competition director, Abdulaziz Abdulla, confirmed the completion of all events before the beginning of the sports events of Ramadan and expects that the football matches will receive significant attention from the audience, as the tournament has become appealing due to the high level, established in the upcoming years.
