Ajman Holds Off Asham Fayez Transfer

Ajman club has confirmed that Asham Fayez remains in their squad, but the final decision on his future is still pending with club management. This comes after widespread rumors of a possible transfer.

Fayez has been a regular player for Ajman since the 2018‑2019 season and earned Emirati citizenship two years later. He has played eight official matches for the UAE national team in World Cup qualifiers and the Arab Cup, logging 201 minutes and receiving one yellow card.

In the UAE Pro League, he has appeared in 127 games, scored four goals, collected 24 yellow and one red card. He has also taken part in 11 matches of the Professional League Cup and 13 in the President’s Cup without scoring.

Ajman says it does not rule out negotiations for any player as long as the deal is technically and financially beneficial. Sources say Fayez’s agent has had preliminary talks with Al Ain’s management about a possible transfer during the upcoming winter window.

Fayez has remained silent on the matter, stating he is still an Ajman player and is unaware of any future moves. The club’s communications head confirmed that no official offers have been received yet, but the club remains open to suitable proposals.

Coach Gorán Tovigdzic said he was not consulted on any offers concerning Fayez and that the player remains an important part of the team.
