
The men's national golf team continues preparation for participation in the 43rd Arab Championship for men and the 2nd championship for beginners, which will take place in Ajman from November 18 to 23. The team coach Faisal al-Sarghini stated that the players have been actively participating in morning and evening training sessions on the local golf courses for the past month. The initial squad includes 10 players, from which four players will be selected for the men's national team and three for the beginners' team.
The coach expressed satisfaction with the commitment and enthusiasm shown by the team during the weekly training sessions, which are considered the final stage of preparation, utilizing his extensive experience gained from local and international tournaments. The Deputy Chairman of the Golf Federation, General-Major Abdulrahman al-Hashimi, confirmed the readiness of the national team at this moment, noting improvements in both collective and individual play. He expressed hope that the players continue to show a high level, which will increase their chances of a successful performance among Arab athletes, especially given the recent progress of Arab golf.
The competitions are blessed by Sheikh Hamid bin Rashid al-Nuaimi, a member of the Advisory Council of Ajman. The national team coach Faisal al-Sarghini is conducting the last artistic strokes for the team before the start of the competition, which experts expect will be intense. The national team continues serious preparation to achieve the best results and secure podium finishes in the upcoming championships that will take place on the golf course in Ajman.
