The Department of Tourism of Ajman and the Federation of the United Arab Emirates announced that Ajman will host the Asian Championship for Tourism in 2025 and the World Championship in 2026. This was announced at a press conference held at the Ajman-Saray hotel, in the presence of Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saifa Al Sharki, President of the Federation of the United Arab Emirates for Tourism and Fitness. He emphasized that the holding of competitions in Ajman reflects the high interest that the emirate pays to sports and local and international sports events.
In this regard, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Hamid Al Nuaimi, President of the Department of Tourism of Ajman, met in his office in the governmental building in Ajman Palace with Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saifa Al Sharki, President of the management of the Federation of the United Arab Emirates for tourism and fitness, successor to the President of the International Federation of Tourism and Fitness, and President of the International Federation of Fitness and Tourism Doctor Rafael Santonga, on the occasion of Ajman's emirate hosting two championships.
