Dubai Chambers recently organized two legal workshops aimed at helping businesses navigate the evolving legal landscape in the UAE. The sessions, attended by 70 private sector representatives, delved into the legal and practical aspects of the UAE construction industry and the importance of data privacy in contracts.
One of the workshops focused on compliance with the UAE Federal Data Protection Law, managing cross-border data transfers, defining data processing responsibilities, and mitigating legal risks. This workshop also provided guidance on contractual obligations and effective construction project management.
The second virtual workshop, held in partnership with Galadari Advocates and Legal Consultants, addressed the integration of data privacy provisions into contractual agreements within the UAE. Participants had the opportunity to gain valuable insights into current legislation, dispute resolution mechanisms, risk management, compliance strategies, and international best practices.
The first webinar, conducted in collaboration with Hadef & Partners law firm, offered a comprehensive overview of the legal frameworks governing construction projects in the UAE. Through expert insights and practical tools, Dubai Chambers aims to boost business competitiveness, support growth, and encourage the adoption of best practices across various sectors.
