Dubai has officially inaugurated the new facility of Satys, a French aerospace company, at Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub, enhancing the aviation sector in the region.

Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) in Dubai, a platform dedicated to advancing the aviation industry, has officially opened a new cutting-edge facility for Satys, a French group specializing in aircraft painting, sealing, and manufacturing interiors at Dubai South. The ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials including HE Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation, Tahnoon Saif, CEO of MBRAH, and Christophe Cador, CEO of Satys Group.

The new facility will offer finishing and painting services for business aviation jets and commercial aircraft, such as the Airbus A321 and Boeing 737. Christophe Cador expressed excitement about the expansion, highlighting the milestone achieved with the new hangar in Dubai South, aiming to support the Emirate's vision of becoming a leading aviation hub. Satys, with a workforce of over 2,500 employees globally, focuses on quality, safety, and operational excellence.

MBRAH, a free-zone destination known for high-level connectivity, attracts global aerospace players, including leading airlines, private jet companies, MROs, and related industries. The state-of-the-art hangar at the hub is expected to be operational by the second quarter of 2025. Tahnoon Saif emphasized the importance of Satys' presence at MBRAH, showcasing the commitment to drawing major global companies to the hub.

Satys, founded in 1986 in Blagnac, France, operates in 12 countries worldwide, with 50 sites across Europe, North America, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. Their expertise lies in aircraft painting, sealing, and manufacturing interiors for both the aerospace and rail sectors. The move to Dubai South aligns with the goal of positioning Dubai as a global aviation leader, a vision supported by the location and infrastructure provided by MBRAH.
