
The Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of three chambers operating under the aegis of the Dubai government, announced the approval of 23,752 documents in 2024, representing a growth of 11.3% compared to the number of approved documents in 2023.
Over the past year, the Chamber provided three main foundations for the document approval: confirmation of the authenticity of signatures, approval of documentation for originals, and document formatting for 64 categories of documents. In 2024, the Chamber completed 21,716 transactions for the approval of signature authenticity, with a growth of 13.9% year-on-year, and also provided 1,835 documents for the approval of original documentation, and completed 201 transactions for document formatting.
The Deputy Vice-President for Commercial and Corporate Services at the Dubai Chamber, Khalid Al-Jurvaan, noted: "We strive to provide a full spectrum of services with simple and effective procedures for the business community, which contributes to supporting growth and competitiveness of the private sector, including digital services for document approval, which strengthens the reliability and trust in all documentation covered by this important service."
The most popular documents for the approval service in 2024 were letters "To whom it may concern", which occupied leading positions, followed by audit reports, then certificates, accounts and contracts, as well as documents on rights and legal powers. The contracts on rights showed the highest growth rate among the top ten most sought-after documents for the approval service in 2024, where transactions on the approval of rights grew by 43% year-on-year, followed by letters "To whom it may concern" with an increase of 9%.
