In Dubai, contracts for the import of various types of vegetables and fruits have increased by 20-35% compared to the previous month of Ramadan to satisfy the rising demand. Dubai's markets are currently experiencing a surplus of offers, sufficient to meet the needs of local markets and for re-export to international markets. The production season for agricultural products coincides with the month of Ramadan, which supports the surplus offers.

Mohammed Sharif, head of the group of vegetable and fruit suppliers in Dubai, asserts that the market is currently in a situation of surplus, sufficient for the local market and re-export. He explained the increased contracts for the import of vegetables and fruits before Ramadan as being due to the production season coinciding with the post Ramadan month.

Dubai is an important regional center for the re-export of vegetables and fruits. Grocery stores receive on average 500 containers weekly, which amounts to 11,000 to 15,000 tons of various types of vegetables and fruits from different countries. Dubai also regularly supplies local markets and neighboring countries' markets for re-export.

The "Hamed and Khalid" company increased contracts for imports before Ramadan by 35% to satisfy the rising consumer demand during the post Ramadan period. Most companies supplying in Dubai have increased contracts for imports before Ramadan corresponding to the needs of the local supplies and re-export.

Markets are experiencing a notable surplus during the surplus period, allowing stable prices to be maintained and providing discounts on various types of vegetables and fruits even with the increased demand. Dubai is a strategic center for the re-export of products and continues to expand its imports from neighboring countries.
