This led to an increase in the number of active companies in the center to 6,920 compared to 5,523 in 2023 - an increase of 25%.
Dubai has demonstrated exceptional results in major economic sectors in 2024, achieving historical performance indicators. The real estate sector demonstrated exceptional productivity, reflecting Dubai's position as a global investment hub. A total of 2.78 million real estate transactions were completed for a total of 761 billion dirhams, setting a record for the sector.
The Dubai Ports network has set a record in container handling in 2024, servicing 88.3 million standard containers. The Port of Jebel Ali has also demonstrated an increase in handling by 7% compared to 2023.
