According to the report, Dubai International Airport continues to show significant growth compared to other major air transport hubs, surpassing the allocated capacity on international flights at the airport by more than five million seats in January and March 2025. At the same time, Dubai International Airport retained its position as the world's largest airport on international flights, taking first place in the global ranking by total seats on international and domestic flights, surpassing American airport Hartford-Jackson in Atlanta for the first quarter of the current year.
Dubai International Airport has set a new standard in world aviation after servicing 92.3 million passengers in 2024, which is the highest annual figure in the airport's history. In March of the current year, Dubai Airport registered about 5.16 million allocated seats on international flights (10.32 million in total), which contributed to a total number of allocated seats in Dubai Airport for the first quarter of the current year of 15.24 million seats (30.48 million seats in total), confidently placing it among the leaders of the global aviation market in accordance with its quarterly report by the international company OAG, providing data on airports and airlines.
