
Visa announced the results of its digitalization index for small and medium enterprises, owned by women.
The study showed that women entrepreneurs actively implement digital technologies in their business. More than 60% of women owners of small enterprises stated that digital platforms help them strengthen their positions in the market.
According to the data presented by Visa, in 2021, every second woman entrepreneur implemented at least one new digital solution in her business. The main areas of digital technology usage include financial management, marketing, and sales.
Moreover, the results indicated that 74% of women entrepreneurs consider digitalization a key element in increasing the effectiveness and growth of their business.
"Digitalization plays an important role in the development of entrepreneurship among women. We observe a growing interest in digital tools, and this is excellent because digital technologies help entrepreneurs be competitive in the modern business world," noted a representative of Visa.
