Dubai International Airport has scheduled around 5 million seats in April 2025, totaling 25.44 million seats in the first five months of the year, showcasing its leading position globally.

In April of this year, around 5 million places were registered at Dubai International Airport, in March - around 5.16 million places, in February - 4.78 million places, and in January 2025 - 5.3 million places. The total number of booked places at Dubai Airport amounted to 25.44 million places (50.88 million in both directions) for the first five months of this year.

The increase in capacity at Dubai Airport is associated with attracting new airlines, opening new routes, and adding additional flights to existing routes. This occurred after the successful international passenger traffic in 2024 and at the beginning of this year.

As for last month, Heathrow London took second place in the world ranking with around 4.2 million places, followed by Amsterdam with 3.6 million places, Singapore with 3.59 million places, and Incheon International Airport with 3.53 million places.

Dubai Airport maintains second place in the world ranking for total capacity on international and domestic flights after the American Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport, which recorded around 5.5 million places in April of this year.

According to the data, as of May 2019, Dubai Airport demonstrated the largest growth in positions and increased its overall capacity from 3.4 million to 5.5 million places, claiming in May of this year second place in the world ranking.

In the first quarter of 2025, Dubai Airport welcomed 23.4 million passengers, confirming its position as the world's busiest international airport, which reflects the growing attractiveness of Dubai as a global tourist destination and the key role of the airport as a preferred transit hub for millions of passengers from all over the world.

In January 2025, the airport reached the highest monthly passenger traffic in its entire history with a record of 8.5 million people.

In May of this year, Dubai Airport registered around 5.2 million booked places on international flights (approximately 10.4 million in both directions) with a growth of 3% compared to the same month last year, leading among all airports in the world.
