DTC Reports Strong Financial Performance in Q1 2025

The taxi company Dubai achieved sustainable results in the first quarter of 2025 with a strong baseline indicator in all core areas of its business. Revenue for the quarter decreased to 154.4 million dirhams, representing a 9% decline year on year, while maintaining a healthy margin of 26%.

Revenues from the limousine segment increased by 3% year on year, totaling 34.3 million dirhams in the first quarter of 2025, aided by the expansion of the vehicle fleet with additional vehicles. Overall, revenue for the quarter increased by 5% year on year, amounting to 588.3 million dirhams, and by 7% compared to the same period last year, primarily thanks to the expansion of the vehicle fleet across various segments and successful operations in the taxi and motorcycle delivery sectors.

"We remain confident in the foundational stability of our business, supported by a healthy balance sheet and a scalable platform aimed at growth," added DTC General Director Mansour Rahma Al-Falasi.

A whole range of strategic partnerships, including partnerships with Bolt and Dubai airports, as well as plans to expand the DTC vehicle fleet, speak to the company's commitment to leveraging opportunities within the rapidly developing mobility ecosystem of Dubai. With a fleet that includes more hybrids or electric vehicles, DTC is committed to sustainable development, and the partnership with Bolt provides new opportunities for expanding the company's activities.

To meet the growing demand arising from the stimulating population and tourism growth in the region, DTC is actively expanding its vehicle fleet and investing in increasing operational efficiency. The provision of taxi and limousine services by the company in the first quarter of 2025 increased to 12.8 million rides, which is an 8% increase over the previous year's figures.
