Building on a successful partnership spanning nearly three decades, Emirates and South African Airways are strengthening their strategic relationship by moving towards a codeshare agreement, ahead of the busy travel season.
Under the agreement, Emirates customers will be able to seamlessly travel to three domestic destinations in South Africa—Cape Town, Durban, and Port Elizabeth—as well as six other regional destinations in Africa, including Kinshasa, Windhoek, Lusaka, Harare, Victoria Falls, and South African Airways' newest destination, Gaborone, all via Johannesburg, on a single ticket with smooth baggage handling.
