The founder of the real estate company "Emaar", Mohamed Alabbar, revealed that the "Dubai Square Mall" project, currently under construction, is scheduled to open in three years.

In a post on the social media platform "X" today, Alabbar stated that the mall is located in Dubai Creek and is three times the size of the Burj Khalifa area, with a total cost of 180 billion dirhams.

He added that the mall will allow electric cars to enter.

Emaar had approved the detailed design for "Dubai Square" in February 2024, which is set to become the second-largest shopping and entertainment center in Dubai Creek. The company said at the time that "Dubai Square" is characterized by its modern, innovative, and technology-driven design and will be linked to the new Burj Dubai Creek tower, whose construction began simultaneously with the mall, giving it a prominent location in the heart of Dubai Creek.

The company also added that the project features pedestrian-friendly streets and includes 7.4 million square meters of residential space and 500,000 square meters of gardens and open areas, as well as ease of walkability.
