Emirates Group yesterday honored more than 90 national talents from various departments of the group after they successfully completed 14 leadership and professional development programs since the beginning of the year. These programs, designed by the group in cooperation with government entities and world academic partners, aim to accelerate the career path of promising Emirati talents and equip them with advanced leadership skills that support the strategic vision of the UAE, and solidify the group's readiness for its next phase of expansion and growth.
Yesterday, in a post on the X platform, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktum, Chairman of Dubai's Civil Aviation Authority, President and Chief Executive of Emirates Group, said: "Today we celebrated more than 90 Emirati graduates, whose excellence is a clear testament to the strength of our talent development programs and the continuous enhancement of our national workforce's capabilities. These graduates, with their commitment, leadership spirit, and innovative thinking, have proven to be a cornerstone in achieving the UAE's vision for progress and a key pillar in the growth journey of Emirates Group."
His Highness continued: "We are steadfast in our commitment to providing quality opportunities that enable the sons and daughters of our nation to advance and lead, contributing to shaping our future and the future of the aviation sector on a global scale."
This year's graduates represented a diverse spectrum of national talents, ranging from mid-level managers to senior leaders, reflecting the diversity of Emirati capabilities and the breadth of experience across different business units. As part of their development journey, the graduates executed 20 flagship projects.
Participants in the 14 programs presented innovative solutions and strategic recommendations to address key challenges in sectors such as aviation, tourism, finance, sustainability, customer experience, and government excellence. These efforts contributed to enhancing Dubai's future ambitions and, at the same time, embodied the group's corporate values based on excellence, strategic thinking, and global competitiveness.
In a step reflecting Emirates Group's commitment to providing world-class educational opportunities for its citizens, the group expanded its academic pathways this year to include master's programs at four international universities: King's College London, Georgetown University, Harvard University, and the University of Glasgow.
Emirati employees enrolled in these programs in fields including public policy, international relations, finance, innovation, aviation management, and leadership at these institutions are building a deeper knowledge base that enables them to meet the demands of the future workforce and keep pace with the needs of the global aviation industry.
Emirates Group confirmed that the continuous development of national talents remains a cornerstone of its Emiratization strategy. The group clarified that through its ongoing investment in their professional and academic development, it is committed to preparing the next generation of Emirati leaders, empowering them to contribute to shaping the future of the aviation and travel sectors in the UAE and making impactful contributions on the global stage.
