The UAE believes that the future of the sector will be based on innovation, expanding the use of digital technologies, and enhancing the resilience of maritime systems, especially amid escalating risks. The UAE participated in the 34th session of the IMO, held in London on Tuesday, with a delegation led by Engineer Hessa Al Malik, Advisor to the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure for Maritime Transport. The meeting discussed the future of the global maritime sector amid rapid environmental and technological changes.
