Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has renewed its ISO 37301:2021 certification for Compliance Management, which it first obtained in 2023. This step serves as a new indicator of the maturity of its compliance management system.Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of DEWA, received the ISO certification for Compliance Management at the Authority's headquarters, in the presence of the Executive Vice President of Business Development and Excellence, Engineer Waleed bin Salman, and the Vice President of Governance and Compliance, Dr. Ali Al Muaireegi.Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer stated: "We are guided by the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, to reach the highest levels of government work. In line with Dubai's Eight Principles and the 'Fifty' document launched by His Highness, and the strategic goals of the UAE, we at DEWA adopt a global framework for compliance management. He noted that the Authority's continuous monitoring and internal controls ensure that all operations align with legal and ethical frameworks, preventing any violations from occurring.
