Dubai Chambers has signed a memorandum of understanding with 'Ahia for Information Technology', a company specializing in AI-powered software solutions for sustainability. The goal is to encourage commitment to responsible business practices across various sectors and support leading companies in adopting ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards. According to a statement released yesterday, the memorandum aims to enhance cooperation for developing the capabilities of companies that have earned the Dubai Chambers' mark for ESG standards. Under the MoU, the two parties will collaborate on launching projects to promote ESG practices by offering exclusive, preferential, and customized incentives to companies with the Dubai Chambers' ESG mark. They will also develop knowledge resources, such as guidance tools designed to enhance these companies' capacities. The agreement also includes strengthening cooperation in digital solutions and innovative tools that help companies measure and assess their emissions and sustainability performance. Additionally, it will provide aggregated insights and analytics derived from these companies to support continuous improvement and policy development. Khalid Al Jarwan, Vice President of Commercial and Corporate Services at Dubai Chambers, said: 'We are committed to encouraging businesses in Dubai to adopt sustainable practices that enhance their efficiency and long-term competitiveness. Our commitment to sustainability, innovation, and leadership has become more urgent than ever.' He added: 'We are proud of our partnership with Dubai Chambers to provide companies with the necessary solutions to measure, analyze, and reduce their carbon emissions.
