Legend Holding, based in Dubai, announced an investment of 500 million dirhams to expand its operations in the automotive sector by establishing a new regional headquarters in Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA). The complex will span one million square feet and include a motorcycle assembly line and an export center as part of an integrated automotive ecosystem. The new facility will serve as the primary base for Legend Motors' vehicle storage, preparation, distribution, and after-sales services across more than 100 markets. This expansion will support Dubai's goal of enhancing advanced manufacturing and attracting high-value mobility projects. The construction will be carried out in two phases. The first phase, involving the preparation of a space to accommodate 5,000 vehicles, will be completed by April 2026. It will later be expanded into a multi-story facility capable of holding over 20,000 vehicles by January 2028, according to a statement released yesterday. The Managing Director of Legend Motors Global, Nagaraj Punada, said: "Establishing our new headquarters and logistics complex in Jebel Ali Free Zone is a significant strategic step in our global expansion, as Dubai provides the necessary infrastructure and business environment to support competitive export operations." In turn, the Executive Director of Operations, Complexes, and Free Zones at DP World for the GCC countries, Abdullah Al Hashemi, stated: "Legend Holding's investment strengthens Dubai's efforts to develop a comprehensive automotive ecosystem. With the growing mobility complexes in JAFZA and the evolution of the Dubai car market into one of the largest global automotive trading hubs, the emirate continues to build the necessary infrastructure for manufacturing, distribution, and export on a global scale."
