The United Arab Emirates has published data on government revenues and expenditures for the first nine months of the current year. Total government revenues amounted to 408.5 billion dirhams. The primary source of revenue was taxes, totaling 245.5 billion dirhams, which constitutes 60.1% of the total revenue. Other revenues amounted to 149.4 billion dirhams (36.6%), and social contributions were 13.6 billion dirhams (3.3%). Total expenditures for the same period reached 320.83 billion dirhams. The largest expenditure category was goods and services, amounting to 101.4 billion dirhams (31.6%). The second-largest expenditure was employee compensation, including salaries and benefits, totaling 97.16 billion dirhams (30%). Social benefits were the third-largest expenditure, valued at 58.1 billion dirhams (18%). The remaining expenditures were distributed across financial subsidies, grants, interest, capital consumption, and other items.
