The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has announced its membership in the Global Privacy Rules (GPR) Forum. This decision was made during a recent workshop organized by the GPR Forum in the Philippines.
The Global Privacy Rules Forum is a leading international platform for exchanging experiences and developing standards for the protection of data that crosses national borders. Membership in the forum will allow Dubai to strengthen its position as a global financial center committed to high standards of privacy and information security.
"We are pleased to join this important international forum," said representatives of the DIFC. "This underscores our commitment to creating a safe and reliable environment for doing business that aligns with global best practices."
It is worth noting that joining the Global Privacy Rules Forum is part of the Dubai International Financial Centre's strategy to develop the technology and innovation sector, as well as to attract international companies working with big data and digital assets.
