Emirates Airline Foundation Launches Charity Auction for Children's Support

Yesterday, the Emirates Airline Foundation announced the launch of an exclusive online auction in collaboration with Emirates Auction. The auction offers an opportunity to acquire distinctive membership numbers in the Emirates Skywards loyalty program with Platinum status benefits, valid for 20 years. The proceeds will be directed to support the foundation's humanitarian programs for the world's most vulnerable children. According to the foundation, the auction opened yesterday and will continue until January 17, 2026. Interested individuals can submit bids to obtain exclusive membership numbers with Platinum status benefits. The auction's proceeds will benefit 14 non-governmental organizations across nine countries, focusing on providing housing, education, healthcare, nutrition, and vocational training. This will contribute to improving the quality of life for children and empowering them for a better future. The auction provides donors with an opportunity to make a real and sustainable impact on the lives of children worldwide.

Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline and Chairman of the Emirates Airline Foundation's Board of Directors, stated: "This auction is an innovative financing initiative that helps us connect with new supporters worldwide as we work to expand the foundation's impact." He added that these donations help continue to fund and empower local NGO partners with deep field expertise to ensure aid reaches children in the most effective way.

Each bid in this auction not only represents an exclusive Platinum membership but embodies a contribution that makes a real difference in the lives of children and their families, he said.

Abdulla Almuaini, Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of Emirates Auction, stated that the company is committed to supporting humanitarian initiatives in the United Arab Emirates. He confirmed that the company will continue its role as a strategic partner for many charitable and developmental initiatives with a sustainable impact. "The collaboration with the Emirates Airline Foundation reflects the company's commitment to its social responsibility and the support of sustainable humanitarian projects."
