Sun Life licensed in Dubai, preparing to launch operations

Insurance company Sun Life for high-net-worth clients has been licensed by the Dubai Financial Services Authority. The company plans to open an office in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and commence operations in December. This move will strengthen the company's position as a global player in the insurance services market and allow it to expand its regional presence.

The company announced its intention to establish operations and open an office in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). In a press release, the company expects to commence operations from its office in the centre this December. Sujosh Gos, CEO of Sun Life's High-Net-Worth Individuals division, stated that obtaining approval from the Dubai Financial Services Authority to join the DIFC helps us get closer to our partners in the region and enhances Sun Life's position as a global company in insurance services for high-net-worth individuals. In turn, Arif Amiri, CEO of the Dubai International Financial Centre, said that Sun Life's decision to join and operate from the DIFC confirms our status as a leading global financial centre.
