The UAE ranks seventh globally in economic stability and strength. On Thursday, the Economic Integration Committee held its first meeting for 2026, chaired by Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism, in the presence of the Directors General of economic departments across the seven emirates. The committee highlighted its efforts and achievements over the past year in developing the country's legislative economic framework, enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy, and fostering integration between relevant federal and local entities. The committee also followed up on the recommendations of its previous meeting, assessing the progress and outcomes achieved to date.
