The Research and Development Centre, affiliated with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), has issued its fifth report on scientific research papers published in international conferences and peer-reviewed scientific journals. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, stated that the total number of research papers published by the centre in peer-reviewed international scientific journals has risen to 346, after the report added 71 new research papers. He explained that the research covered diverse fields, such as solar energy, smart grids, Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, and advanced materials, noting that the centre has achieved a milestone in innovation by registering 64 patents, including 18 that have been granted, with the rest in process.
