Exclusive Emirates Auction: Privileged Skywards Membership for 20 Years

Emirates charitable foundation, in collaboration with Emirates Auction, has announced an exclusive online auction offering a unique opportunity to acquire privileged membership numbers in the 'Emirates Skywards' program with platinum-level benefits for 20 years. Strong bids from participants are being recorded as Emirates states that the proceeds from this auction will be directed towards supporting the humanitarian programs carried out by the foundation for the world's most vulnerable children. The auction combines the exclusivity of owning a rare membership number within the 'Skywards' program with contributing to a noble humanitarian cause, as the proceeds directly contribute to providing better educational opportunities for children benefiting from the Emirates charitable Foundation's programs. The membership number 'EK 700 0000 000' had recorded the highest value, reaching 650,000 dirhams by mid-night on January 9th of this year. The auction will close on January 17th of this year. In detail, the Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Commercial Operations at Emirates, Adnan Kazim, stated that the Emirates charitable Foundation, in collaboration with Emirates Auction, has launched an exclusive online auction that allows participants from around the world the opportunity to acquire privileged membership numbers in the 'Emirates Skywards' program with platinum-level benefits for 20 years. He noted that the auction will end on January 17th of this year. Kazim added to 'Emirates Today' that this initiative is the first of its kind, explaining that all proceeds from the auction will be directed towards supporting the humanitarian programs implemented by the foundation for the world's most vulnerable children, indicating that the auction's proceeds will be used to support 14 non-governmental organizations in nine countries, working in key sectors including education, healthcare, housing, nutrition, and vocational training, which contributes to improving the quality of life for children and empowering them for a better future. He confirmed that the auction is open to all members of the 'Emirates Skywards' program, which has reached 37 million members across 190 countries. Kazim confirmed that this initiative reflects Emirates' commitment to social responsibility and innovation in supporting humanitarian work, noting that the auction provides donors with the opportunity to combine contributing to achieving a sustainable humanitarian impact with gaining exclusive privileges within the 'Skywards' program. He said: 'The auction is held entirely digitally through the Emirates Auction platform, noting that registration is free and easy, and can be completed within minutes via the website or mobile application, with the option to log in via the UAE digital identity for residents in the country.' He explained that winners will be notified within 24 hours after the auction closes on January 17, 2026, expressing his hope for everyone's participation in the auction, as every contribution makes a real difference. Kazim continued: 'The validity period of the platinum membership will be determined based on the value of the winning bid,' noting that the auction includes six bidding categories, the first of which starts at 70,000 dirhams, granting the winner a one-year platinum membership. As the bid amount increases, so does the membership duration; the second category starts at 250,000 dirhams and offers a three-year membership, the third at 325,000 dirhams for five years, and the fourth at 650,000 dirhams for ten years. Kazim added that the fifth category starts at 950,000 dirhams and grants the winner a 15-year platinum membership, while the sixth category starts at 1.5 million dirhams or more and provides a 20-year platinum membership, which is the maximum duration available within the auction. The Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Commercial Operations at Emirates confirmed that there is strong demand for privileged membership numbers, especially the number (7000000000), indicating that this response reflects the high value that participants place on platinum membership, along with the desire to support the initiatives led by the Emirates charitable Foundation. The Platinum tier of the 'Emirates Skywards' program is the highest tier of the 'Emirates Skywards' program and is dedicated to the airline's most loyal customers. It is typically obtained after accumulating 150,000 miles or more from the membership tier and completing at least one qualifying flight in First or Business Class. Kazim stated that Platinum tier members enjoy a full suite of Blue, Silver, and Gold tier benefits, plus additional exclusive privileges. Members also receive complimentary home-to-airport check-in service in Dubai, priority check-in at the airport in First Class, as well as a premium baggage delivery service. They have access to Emirates' global network of First and Business Class lounges, and the ability to bring a guest for free. Platinum tier members earn 100% bonus Skywards miles on every flight flown with Emirates or Flydubai, and they can also gift Gold tier membership to a spouse or friend. Emirates charitable Foundation is the official charitable arm of Emirates, aiming to empower underprivileged children with education, healthcare, housing, nutrition, and vocational training. Its activities are funded by donations from Emirates' customers and employees. To date, the foundation has implemented over 50 humanitarian projects, with the majority of donations going directly to field programs.
