The head of innovation at LinkedIn, Sam See, emphasized that content creators must recognize the difference between LinkedIn and other social platforms, primarily in terms of the audience. He pointed out that content creators on LinkedIn should focus on credibility, engagement, and communicating in a unique style that reflects their personality, as well as sharing professional opportunities to achieve success, measured by audience interaction.
Sam See confirmed that the coming period will witness changes that allow content creators to better leverage the platform, offering advice to both creators and new users to maximize their benefit from LinkedIn.
This came during the fourth edition of the Billion Followers Summit, hosted by the United Arab Emirates over three days, concluding today.
During a session titled "The Next Phase for Content Creators on LinkedIn," Sam See provided several tips. He stressed the need to understand the platform's uniqueness and specialization, noting that most users come to LinkedIn to learn more about their professional network, share experiences, and stay updated on the latest professional developments.
He added that the platform's mission is different from others, as it primarily focuses on providing economic opportunities, and the content should be suitable for this objective.
