The Executive Board Member of DAMAC Properties, the largest private real estate developer in the UAE and the Middle East, Amaja Sajwani, announced the beginning of a "new era" for the company after an exceptional 2025, in which it achieved a record-breaking sales volume of 36 billion dirhams. Consequently, the company topped the list of the largest private developers in the UAE. Commenting on this, Amaja Sajwani stated: "2026 will mark the beginning of a new era for DAMAC. DAMAC has solidified its track record of achievements by delivering approximately 50,000 residential units, with over 54,000 units in the planning and construction phases. In September, the company added to its portfolio the "DAMAC District" project, a complex located within the master plan of the DAMAC Hills community, redefining the concept of urban living in Dubai. During 2025, DAMAC expanded its project portfolio by announcing the year's largest project, DAMAC Islands 2, a comprehensive residential community on the waterfront, which enhances its projects in the category of residential properties with an island and resort lifestyle. Regionally, the company strengthened its presence by launching the first phase of the DAMAC Hills Baghdad project, the company's first integrated luxury residential community in the Iraqi capital. Throughout the same year, DAMAC offered flexible and attractive payment plans, setting new standards for financial flexibility in the UAE's real estate sector through innovative banking partnerships. In August, DAMAC launched the "Capri One" project, adding a new residential complex focused on water views and a community lifestyle. In 2025, the company continued its expansion both locally and internationally by forming strategic global partnerships and launching iconic projects. DAMAC has reinforced its position as a luxury real estate developer offering unique projects that align with the world's highest standards in design and quality. This was exemplified by the launch of its first project of the year, "Riverside Fuzion" in Dubai, which blends a luxurious waterfront lifestyle with modern wellness and mental health-focused concepts. DAMAC also entered into a global partnership with the English football club Chelsea, launching the "Chelsea Residences by DAMAC" project. Upon completion, the Chelsea Residences project will be one of the last residential projects on a marine corner with panoramic 270-degree views of the Arabian Gulf and the Dubai skyline.
