Animoca Brands, a Hong Kong-based Web3 investment firm, has obtained a license from the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA). This permits the company to offer brokerage, management, and investment services in virtual assets within the emirate, excluding the Dubai International Financial Centre. Omar El-Assar, Head of Global Strategic Partnerships at Animoca Brands, stated that acquiring this license is a significant achievement for the company, particularly for its operations in Dubai and the Middle East.
