Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub in Dubai South announced the launch of an aircraft parts painting and treatment center developed by 'Lufthansa Technik Middle East'. This step reinforces the company's commitment to expanding its operational capabilities in the region and helps to solidify the project's status as a main hub for advanced aviation services, including aircraft repair and overhaul. The new facility was designed to support the painting and treatment processes used in the repair of structures and components made from composite materials. This allows for the acceleration of treatment and drying processes, improvement of repair efficiency, and reduction of project turnaround times for clients in the region and beyond. The launch ceremony was attended by Thani Saif, Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub, and Ziad Al-Hazmi, Executive Director of Lufthansa Technik Middle East, along with a number of senior officials from both sides. Thani Saif said: 'The opening of the new painting and treatment center by Lufthansa Technik Middle East is another important milestone in the journey to enhance the aviation ecosystem in the Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub. We are committed to continuing to attract leading global companies in the aviation sector to develop advanced capabilities and meet the growing demand for aviation services in the region.' In turn, Ziad Al-Hazmi stated: 'This new facility is a significant step towards strengthening our operational capabilities in the region. This is part of our efforts to solidify Dubai's position as a global capital of aviation, in line with the wise leadership of our leadership.'
