Global car production falls for fourth consecutive month

Global car production in February fell by 3.9% to 749,673 units. The main decline was recorded in Canada, China, Japan, and the Middle East. In contrast, the United States saw growth. The reason for the decrease is the shift of the production line to the new RAV4 model by Toyota.

Toyota Motor Corporation announced on Monday that its global production fell for the fourth consecutive month in February, affected by a drop in production in Canada due to the company's shift of the RAV4 production line from the old model to the new one.
