Amid regional tensions, a British family of Arab origin, the Mustafas, relocates to Dubai. They purchase a villa and plan to build their careers in Dubai's safe and investment-friendly environment.

British Family Moves to Dubai for Safety and Stability

Amid a tense regional climate, rife with rumors and widespread disinformation networks, the story of a British family of Arab origin, Fatima Mustafa, stands out. They chose to relocate and settle in Dubai amidst the fallout of a regional crisis, finding there a space for safety and a better life, despite the 'false narratives' circulating everywhere.

Regarding their shared journey of struggle and the decision to make an investment move to Dubai, Fatima explained: «My husband succeeded in establishing his business successfully in London, and his project is still ongoing there, but our search, when we were blessed with our daughter, for a destination that aligns with our vision for her future, and our desire to provide a stable environment for her, drove us towards this decision».

Between streets that lost their sense of security and a city that succeeded in anchoring a different model of stability, this family found in Dubai what they were looking for: a safe environment, a clearer future for their daughter, and a life that aligns with their values. As Fatima Mustafa told «Al Ittihad»: «Events will not change the fact that Dubai maintains its position as one of the most attractive destinations for living and working in the world, and the first haven for families seeking stability, quality of life, and safety».

And indeed, they dared to «buy a beautiful villa», eagerly awaiting its imminent delivery.

After a long journey of expatriation and a professional success story in London, Fatima's story embodies this confidence after she and her husband made a pivotal decision to build their businesses and settle permanently in Dubai, ignoring all the media hype «manufactured» around the regional crises that hit the region.

Fatima added to «Al Ittihad»: «Leaving London was not an easy decision, but our concern for our young daughter's (Dania's) future and my husband's insistence on raising her in a safe and stable society was a motivator for both of us to make this bold decision and leave the place we were used to and had built our life and all our social and professional details in».

She added: «My friends in London are worried about me in these circumstances, but I reassure them every time, confirming that if it weren't for some pending commitments there, I would not have returned to the UK, and would have remained in Dubai until the date of receiving my new home».

Regarding the impact of this positive change on their daughter and their perspective on the future, Fatima confirmed, saying: «My daughter Dania is extremely happy, the events and the social, welcoming, and warm atmosphere among people here have captivated her».

Fatima Mustafa said: «Despite the diversity of cultures, Dubai is distinguished by successful regulatory and legal procedures that ensure respect for order, the safety of everyone, and mutual respect». While her husband's experience will currently be split between London and Dubai, Fatima chose to leave her previous job and liquidate her project in cake design and manufacturing in London, paving the way to move here and build a special professional experience that she hopes will be successful, as she plans to open a café specializing in unique cakes, while her husband will open a branch for his business. The investment environment here is conducive to success and very comfortable».

She continued: «Everyone in London, friends, acquaintances, or even customers, talk about Dubai as a business destination and an oasis of safety, and our personal experience there is the best proof, in addition to the fact that real estate prices here are very competitive, not to mention the larger spaces, the advantage of full freehold ownership, and even residency».

This family's decision to leave London now is not just a story of a geographical move, but a living testament to a profound shift in the standards of safety and quality of life. I say to those who promote rumors and claims: I live in Dubai and I see it as the safest place in the world... My daughter Dania is extremely happy, the events and the social, welcoming, and warm atmosphere among people here have captivated her».

Therefore, we made preliminary scouting visits, and during our last trip, we decided to buy a villa, which we expect to receive next October.

In her view of the rumors that spread during the current regional crisis, Fatima raised her level of trust in Dubai, saying: «I say to those who promote these claims: I live in Dubai and I see it as the safest place in the world». She added: «Despite all that is said about the difficult conditions of war, I feel absolute safety in Dubai and move with my family with complete ease, we often return to our apartment late at night without fear, which is impossible in any European country, after I used to fear going out after ten pm». And most importantly, my practical discovery that the Emirati people are one of the most modest and refined people in the world».
