Emirati Carriers Showcase Advanced Crisis Management Model

Emirati carriers have presented an advanced and integrated model in crisis management, successfully enhancing traveler confidence and solidifying their position as a trusted global choice, despite geopolitical challenges that have cast a shadow on global air travel. According to travel agency managers and experts interviewed by "Al-Khaleej", the carriers combined a human-centric approach in dealing with passengers with operational professionalism in managing flights. Transparency in communication was evident through continuous and precise updates, alongside rescheduling flights and meticulously planning operational capacity to balance efficiency and safety. They added that national carriers placed passenger and crew safety above all other considerations, which reflected in cautious operational decisions that boosted their global credibility. The flexibility of the customer experience was demonstrated by simplifying refund procedures and offering multiple options for rebooking and modifications, which alleviated traveler anxiety. They praised their experience on the "X" platform and the carriers' ability to manage the crisis efficiently, combining safety, flexibility, and quality.

Professionalism and Flexibility The CEO of "Sharif House" for Tourism and Travel, Sharif Al-Farm, stated that airlines demonstrated professionalism in managing passenger rights with a high degree of flexibility, offering wide-ranging options for rebooking or ticket refunds without complications, as well as the ability to modify travel dates. This, he said, is a clear indicator of their commitment to global service standards. He continued: "The human aspect was clearly evident in operational decisions, especially regarding postponing or modifying flights to ensure the safety of crews and passengers. This reflects a high level of professional responsibility, which enhanced their image as safe and reliable carriers even in the most difficult circumstances."

In the same context, the financial director of "Zajil Tourism", Mahmoud Sulaim, said that national carriers successfully managed the disruptions, maintaining the trust of travelers seeking flexibility and clarity in their dealings. He added: "Through their continuous updates, Emirati airlines acted swiftly and efficiently from the first day of the blatant Iranian attack, rescheduling flights and reducing operational capacity in a measured manner to ensure passenger and crew safety. This approach reflects a clear operational responsibility, far from any short-term commercial considerations. The integration between airlines and airports in the country also played a pivotal role in minimizing operational confusion."

Safety First Meanwhile, digital tourism expert Qadri Izet explained that decisions to redirect flights or temporarily suspend some of them reflected a cautious policy that prioritized passenger and crew safety above all else. This strengthened the trust of global markets in national carriers, especially amidst the turmoil the sector is experiencing worldwide.

Travelers on Social Media: Safety and Trust Travelers shared testimonials on the "X" platform, showing a high level of satisfaction with the services of Emirati airlines in recent times, particularly regarding the ease of procedures and the quality of the travel experience.
