Dubai Digital Initiatives to Enhance Services

The application and digital services manager at "Digital Dubai" Hind An-Naimi announced that work is underway on the completion and launch of 18 new initiatives to support the digitization of various sectors in Dubai. The digital service initiatives are described within the framework of the "Digital Native" plans, under which "Digital Dubai" operates. These initiatives aim to create a unified digital complex, ensuring full interaction for users across different sectors.

According to Hind An-Naimi, digital services make organizations in Dubai independent of visiting facilities for the execution of operations, allowing all stages of services to be completed entirely in a digital format. "Digital Dubai" plans to complete and launch 50 digital initiatives by the end of 2025, continuing to work on the development of these initiatives and digital experiences.

One of the planned new initiatives, which will be launched by the end of this year, is the "Single Window" for trade and logistics in Dubai. It will allow investors to complete all their business operations through the digital channel. An initiative or experience called "My Homeland" will also be presented, enabling residents to submit complaints or proposals related to Dubai or photograph any remarks along the roads, such as water pollution, and after posting photographs on the platform, artificial intelligence technology will analyze the images and forward them to the relevant state agencies for operational resolution.

In addition, the new digital experiences also include the service "أحسن الله عزاكم" for residents, allowing them to complete all procedures related to death, in the presented facilities via digital experience, as well as a service for obtaining ready-made housing for residents. Additionally, an experience labeled "Online Medical Aid Request" for citizens will be available without visiting facilities, along with an initiative for obtaining a golden visa for residents in Dubai, allowing them to apply for it and receive it through a complete digital channel, ensuring a wider scope of services.

"Digital Dubai" planned to launch 12 digital experiences last year, however, by the end of 2023, 13 full experiences were completed. Currently, work continues on the development of new initiatives and digital experiences, and it is expected that they will be completed by the end of this year. It is also noted that among the most significant digital experiences completed last year were "Subsidy Exchange", "Purchase and Sale of Automobiles", "Construction and Repair of Buildings", "Registration and Management of Electric Vehicles."
