RTA Resumes Marine Transport Operations in Dubai

The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has revitalized marine transport for the maintenance of residential areas around the Water Canal and Business Bay after completing work on their improvement. This allows for improved maintenance of tourist directions and residential areas in Dubai, contributing to the growth of marine transport users in conjunction with the overall marine transport plan for 2020-2030, which meets the needs of developers.

Khalaf Hasan Abdulrahman Belghuz Al Zarouni, Director of Marine Transport at the Roads and Transport Authority, stated: 'The goal of developing and reviving the operation of these lines is to achieve an effective accomplishment of our goals in supporting the economy, improving the quality of life, and maintaining projects in coastal areas.'

DC2 is the first line, operating from 8:00 to 22:00 from Monday to Saturday and from 10:00 to 22:00 on Sundays, with intervals of 30 to 50 minutes. It offers an effective and convenient option for transporting passengers between these areas, especially those who want to reach the Metro Creek station on the Green Line from Dubai Design Club.

DC3 is the second line, operating from 16:00 to 23:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. The service now operates on two lines, connecting key tourist attractions in these areas. Providing suitable infrastructure for these coastal projects enhances community mobility in these areas and increases their attractiveness.
