
Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) and China's National Innovation Center par Excellence (NICE) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on driving technological adoption and fostering innovation. The agreement, aimed at enhancing Dubai's prominence in industrial innovation, seeks to attract investments and increase the private sector's involvement in research and development.
During the SuperBridge Summit 2024 in Dubai, the MoU was signed by Abdulaziz AlJaziri, Deputy CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, and Dr. Qing Liu, Director of the National Innovation Center par Excellence. The partnership intends to explore cooperation opportunities in knowledge transfer, talent attraction and empowerment, competencies retention, and facilitating market access for both parties.
Abdulaziz AlJaziri highlighted the significance of bilateral partnerships and the exchange of successful experiences in supporting innovation within Dubai's forward-thinking strategy. He emphasized the importance of collaboration with NICE in shaping the future of innovation. Dr. Qing Liu expressed pleasure in fortifying the research and development industry model in Dubai through the strategic alliance with Dubai Future Foundation.
The collaboration aspires to establish Dubai and the UAE as global hubs for innovation, leveraging their cultural openness, business-friendly policies, talent support, and financial resources to encourage growth. By creating an ecosystem that empowers talent, drives research, and promotes innovation, the program aims to position Dubai as a significant player in the global research and development landscape.
