The United Consumer Association called to adhere to important standards when making purchases on online platforms, especially to avoid unknown and unreliable sites in order to prevent negative experiences for buyers. They reported that since the beginning of this year, there have been many complaints about certain foreign online platforms, emphasizing the importance of interacting with trusted sites and understanding the sales policies on such platforms.
One of the users, Yusuf Zakher, noted: "I found that when purchasing on foreign online platforms that advertise through social networks with large discounts, the products turn out to be of poor quality." He emphasized that some of these platforms complicate the process of returning and exchanging products, hindering communication and establishing strict terms.
Another user, Hamza Abdelrahim, pointed out that many foreign online platforms use methods of presenting products in an exaggerated form, increasing their size in images to make the products look of higher quality, while in reality, they turn out to be of low quality.
Expert of various trade sectors Ibrahim Al-Bakr emphasized that it is important not to be swayed by tempting offers with discounts on foreign online platforms and to compare prices with trusted platforms, also using customer feedback on the Internet, while studying the return and exchange policies on these platforms for safe purchases.
