In Dubai, efforts continue by the government and the private sector to support ecosystems and their habitats through a series of initiatives, among which the protection of the environment is one of the priorities. In this regard, the "Atlantis" resort in Dubai last week released into the waters of the Persian Gulf baby stingrays (Himantura spp.) and 20 Arabian carpet sharks, which serve as a home for various species of fish, including sharks and rays, three of which are classified as endangered. These actions are carried out within the framework of the ongoing efforts of the resort under the "Atlantis" project from "Atlantis", aimed at confirming the obligations to conserve marine life and the local environment. For the past several years, "Atlantis" in Dubai has been undertaking significant efforts for the release of stingrays and young carpet sharks into the waters of the Persian Gulf in the marine reserve of Jebel Ali. After the completion of the campaign, employees of "Atlantis" in Dubai took part in a joint beach cleanup with the municipality of Dubai, ecological protectors from James Jumaira School, and representatives of the "Nakhil" company. This collective effort contributed to the support of marine ecosystems and increased participants’ awareness of the importance of adopting responsible practices for waste management for a more sustainable future.
