The international conference "Academic Libraries and Information Sciences: Challenges of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science" will take place on January 29 and 30. The organizers are the Sheikh Mohammed Library and Al-Wasl University. The event will be dedicated to discussing innovative solutions in the field of library and information sciences, sharing ideas on overcoming digital transformation, and enhancing the effectiveness of specialists in this field.
Experts, academics, and interested parties engaged in library and information sciences will participate in the conference. The program includes five scientific sessions dedicated to various aspects of artificial intelligence in the library sphere. There is also a session planned to familiarize with the library situation in the UAE, with leading library institutions of the country participating - the National Archive and the Sharjah Library, as well as the Al-Majid Center for Heritage and Culture and the United Association of Public Libraries of the Emirates.
The event will also include a session dedicated to the experience of the Sheikh Mohammed Library in the sphere of public libraries, with the aim of enlightenment and experience sharing.
