Successful Conclusion of Al Faza'a Cup and Sword Events

The second edition of the 'Al Faza'a Cup' and 'Al Faza'a Sword' concluded with intense competition and impressive records at the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center during the Dubai Camel Racing Festival 2025. Winners included Abdullah Khamees Al Qatiti and Ali Khamees Al Qatiti who secured top spots in the cup event. The initiative highlights the importance of Bedouin culture and sports, enhancing community ties with heritage.


Successful Conclusion of Al Faza'a Cup and Sword Events

For the second time, the tournaments "Fazza Cup for the Hunting" and "Siph Fazza for the Falcon" took place, organized by the Fazza Festival in the Hamdan bin Mohammed area to preserve heritage, concurrently with the events "Fazza Dubai 2025" at the Dubai Running Club of the camels in Marmoom.

The final entries of the "Fazza Cup for the Hunting" tournament served as witnesses to an intense competition and establishing the results, which prompted the jury to partly alter certain stages for the determination of final results. In the end, Abdullahi Hamis Al-Katiti and Ali Hamis Al-Katiti maintained their victory in the first place, the second place was occupied by Uday Al-Katiti and Mohammad Hamid Al-Masaudi, while Musab Aaamer as-Saidi and Muaz Aaamer as-Saidi finished in third.

In the tournament "Siph Fazza for the Falcon" in its second season, Khalifa Fadil Al-Muqbi, who won on the camel "Kharaa", Khalifa Al-Uwaisi on the camel "Jabaraa", and Mahmoud Khalid Al-Husni on the camel "Shaiba" secured the first, second and third places respectively.

For the first time, at the government level, the "Female Arkan" entry took place in Marmoom, organized by the Hamdan bin Mohammed Centre for the Preservation of Heritage. Participants were prepared by specialists in this national type of sport and successfully competed in the tournament. Among the widely represented participants were the emirates of Hamdan Abdullah Hamdan and Noura Al-Zaabi, who became winners, while the Germans Jessy Jling and Annie Rudi secured second place, and Marina Banchanka from Belarus and Maryam Sakherdi from America came in third.

Awards were presented to the leading participants in the events, including the Executive Director of the Hamdan Center, Abdul Rahman bin Dlamouk, and the Executive Director of the Dubai Running Club, Ali Said bin Sarood. Bin Dlamouk highlighted the importance of connecting between camels and the region, and also emphasized the significance of sports events for the revival of cultural heritage and traditions.

The director of the organization of the competition in the Hamdan area, Mohammed bin Mohammadi for the preservation of heritage, Rashid Harb Al-Hausuni, expressed gratitude to all participants for the successful organization of the event, considering that the employed standards and technologies contribute to enhancing participation.

The winner of "Siph Fazza for the Falcon", Khalifa Fadil Al-Muqbi, considers the victory in this category with camels as a significant achievement and an honorable mark, expressing gratitude to the Hamdan Center for the preservation of heritage for the opportunity to participate and win in competitions.
