
The committee organizing the Phase 2025 international athletics competitions for people with disabilities announced the start of competitions in athletics (16th Grand Prix - Dubai 2025) on February 10 at the Dubai Sports Club stadium for people with disabilities involving 400 athletes from 52 countries.
At the press conference held yesterday at the headquarters of the Dubai Sports Council, details of the event and 25 partner sponsors were presented. One of the participants, Roudha Abdulla, shared her excitement about participating in the tournament, which is one of the most significant sports events for people with disabilities in the world. She remarked: "I am proud to participate and thrilled to be part of the international tournament under the aegis of Phase, whose name is so dear to everyone."
At the conference, the General Secretary of the Dubai Sports Council, Said Harib, the director of international tournaments Phase for people with disabilities, Majid Al-Usaim, a member of the Dubai Club for people with disabilities council, Mona Hamad, the executive director of HR Properties for real estate Sam Bride, among others, were present.
Said Harib noted that thanks to the support of the leadership class for people with disabilities, the Phase athletics tournaments have taken the top spots among events for people with disabilities. He expressed gratitude to Sheikh Mansour bin Muhammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for his efforts and support for people with disabilities.

This year, preparations for holding a unique tournament were completed, which is especially important as the Grand Prix 2025 in athletics begins specifically in Dubai.
