Organized by Dubai Lynx, the event took place on the 22nd and 23rd, showcasing the creative potential of Emirati students. The winners emphasized the importance of supporting today's youth for a bright future in the creative sector.


Students Win Creative Hackathon in Dubai

A group of students from renowned universities in Dubai became the winners of the Student Creative Hackathon 2025, competing among students in a 24-hour challenge focused on fostering creativity in the United Arab Emirates. The student hackathon was organized by Dubai Lynx in strategic partnership with Dubai Media City and took place on the 22nd and 23rd of this month.

The winning team consisted of students from institutions such as SAE Institute, Murdoch University Dubai, and Middlesex University Dubai. The first assistant to the chairman of TECOM Group - Dubai Media City's Majid Al-Suwaidi emphasized that the future of creative industries significantly depends on the support and development of today's students.

Notably, the Student Creative Hackathon provides innovative opportunities for establishing connections with relevant stakeholders in the industry to support creative talents in conjunction with the economic vision of Dubai 2033 and the strategy of Dubai's creative economy.
