In the Ramada district, Expo 2022 will feature a live market where handmade items, traditional clothing, and unique products with a Ramadian flair can be purchased. A store called 'Dakan Yeda' will be organized for children, where they can taste sweets using coins from 'Bank Dirham'.
Little visitors will have the opportunity to participate in master classes themed around Ramadan, watch captivating theatrical performances about the search for the moon, engage with personalities Rashid and Latifa, and also take part in practical events dedicated to the values of solidarity and kindness during Ramadan.
Visitors of all ages will enjoy Arabic and world music at concerts featuring the 'Firdaus' orchestra. The 'Ramada District' will offer a unique iftar experience under the famous Al-Wasl dome, where guests can enjoy stunning light shows, Ramadan stories, live performance stations, and local delicacies such as majboos, haris, shawarma, fresh lavash, grilled meat, and sweet treats.
The 'Ramada District' festival, one of the most notable events, is held in the Al-Wasl area of Expo Dubai for the third consecutive year. Families and friends will gather in Al-Wasl Plaza during the next Ramadan to enjoy the iftar and suhoor experiences, visit the Ramadan market, and participate in cultural and recreational activities that create unforgettable memories.
With the sunset of each day in Ramadan at Expo Dubai, the sound of iftar cannon fire will resonate, in cooperation with the Dubai police, declaring the end of the fast and the start of iftar in the Ramadan tradition, a moment that children and adults alike eagerly await every year. Visitors will also be able to perform prayers at a specially designated mosque, including night prayers of Tarawih and Tahajjud, and participate in religious programs developed specifically for children.
