
The Dubai Police have set a new Guinness World Record by organizing the largest participation of countries in the competition of tactical teams during the sixth edition of the SWAT Challenge 2025 in the UAE. A total of 46 countries participated, exceeding the minimum required number of 45 to establish this historic record.
"We are pleased to have such a remarkable record, which marks the participation of such a large number of countries in tactical competitions, and we are very proud of this achievement," said Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, commanding the Dubai Police.
The SWAT Challenge, organized by the UAE Ministry of Interior and conducted by the Dubai Police, brought together 105 teams from 46 countries, competing in five challenging tests, aimed at assessing tactical mastery, performance, and teamwork of the teams.
At the event, the Special Weapons and Tactics team of the Philippine National Police (PNP-SAF) participated, representing the Philippines at this prestigious global event.
The ceremony for handing over the Guinness certificate took place in Al-Ruwai, Dubai. The SWAT Challenge 2025 took place from February 1 to 5 and became a true test of technical skills and teamwork, while also marking a historic achievement in raising international competition standards and difficulty in such competitions.
